Thomas Paine, English-American revolutionary

Thomas Paine was a political activist, a philosopher, a political theorist. It would have been enlightening to have a conversation with him. I did not realize as a most significant contributor to the American Revolution, he died alone on June 8, 1809. Attending his funeral were 6 people (“half of them were former slaves”). Today’s quote reflects those in the ruling stratosphere in the Ohio General Assembly and the Ohio Governor’s Office. The Cost of Corruption is enormous in Ohio!
