Here is why:

Proposed Ohio House Bill 475 plans to penalize cities and municipalities that fund reproductive health care organizations.

Instead, funds would then be redistributed to crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs), these places may lead to misinformation about reproductive medical care.

CPCs:    

- not equipped to educate on patient care and community health;

    - may misinform & mislead pregnant people seeking support for pregnancy;

    - influence minds from choosing their own reproductive health care needs;

    - staff may not have licensed medical clinics or practitioners;

    - unlicensed personnel are not bound by medical privacy laws;

- do not provide abortion care, referrals, or testing;

    - do not treat for sexually transmitted infections. 

PPAO says. “House Bill 475 is an unnecessary and unwanted policy that fails to honor the will of the Ohioans who overwhelmingly passed the Ohio Reproductive Freedom Amendment.”

Be your smart self and work for your own interests, maintaining your constitutional amendment in the Ohio Constitution to keep safe and secure reproductive medical care!
